Normally I would never get hyped for a storm so far out, but we are heading into February soon and is considered the return to winter. NAO values have tanked for the beginning of February and beyond. Could this be leading up to the winter storm we've all been waiting for? Only time will tell. The picture above shows my estimated storm track for the beginning of February. Keep in mind that it could change drastically and head out to sea before reaching the border of Southern Ontario. I guess the best advice is to keep your fingers crossed as conditions are and hopefully will continue, to fall into place for a winter storm.
