A line of thunderstorms in front of a powerful cold front will continue to travel towards Southern Ontario during the next 6 - 12 hours. These thunderstorms will be severe for areas south of a line starting at Owen Sound and ending in Oshawa. Heavy rainfall along with high winds, frequent lightning, and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Please refer to any severe weather bulletins that Environment Canada may issue as these storms approach.
