Tracking long range precipitation for Southern Ontario using weather models, satellite, and meteorological data.
Monday Briefing
Current weather has us experiencing some snowsqualls off of Georgian Bay, however they are going north instead of west. These squalls will end overnight sometime and with little accumulation expected in the affected areas. There is a little light snow entering Windsor in the area I circled. This area could pick up a few centimeters from this light snow as it makes its way northwards.

The clipper storm that I have mentioned a few times before will take place this coming Tuesday February 2, 2010 late in the afternoon. The snow will fall gently over much of Southern Ontario creating an accumulation of about five centimeters or less.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The much discussed storm for February 5-8, 2010 is now left with two possible tracks. Tracks that snow lovers in Southern Ontario may be disappointed with. Track A is a storm track that is not yet out of the picture and models seem to keep moving the storm in that direction. When we think that it will stay on Track A, then suddenly it changes back to Track B. Track A would bring snow into Southern Ontario as Track B would bring clouds into Southern Ontario. Tuesday will be the day when everyone will get a clear picture of where this storm will end up. One thing can be sure about this storm, and that is whoever gets this storm will get one heck of a snowfall.
