Snow Squall Graphic For Monday and Tuesday
The first graphic is my current indications for the New Years storm. This storm as of the 12z run, is a little farther east than what my graphic shows. The NAM, however, has the storm more west. I cannot draw a graphic based on the GFS or NAM because of the inconsistency in these models, so this is my current indication based on a few other key components. This of course could change as the storm track is still uncertain at this time.
The second graphic is the areas that will be hit by the current snow bands setting up off of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. The areas colored white could receive a general 10-15 centimeters. Locally higher amounts of 20 centimeters could also occur in some of these regions. These snow squalls will dissipate sometime Tuesday morning.
