There will be some surprising winter weather on the way for Southern Ontario. A complicated low pressure system will arrive in Southern Ontario overnight. Rain will be the main precipitation with this storm; however, the backdrop of the storm will only be snow. The snow will arrive on Friday along with brisk cold winds. Zero visibility in blowing snow will make driving hazardous.
Outside of snow squalls, Southern Ontario can expect a general snow amount of 5-10 centimeters. If you are one of those unfortunate people inside a snowsquall, you can expect up to 40 centimeters of snow between Friday and Sunday morning.
